About
I'm Nathan Clendenin, a photographer based in the Triangle area. My background is in photojournalism, and I have two decades of experience capturing moments that tell a story. My wife, Rebecca, and I have four children and are often hosting an international student. We love community, camping and visiting National Parks across the U.S.
Photo sessions take place at Solterra Co-Housing Community, a beautiful natural setting with mature trees and warm evening light. Every session is relaxed, low-key, and genuinely fun for everyone, including the kids.
How it works
Book your time
Send me an email to reserve your 15–20 minute session slot. Sessions are offered in seasonal batches at Solterra — spots fill quickly.
Show up & have fun
Come as you are. I'll guide you through a few natural moments and let the rest unfold. Kids, dogs, and extended family are all welcome.
Receive your gallery
Within two weeks, you'll have a private online gallery with 20–25 professionally edited images, ready to download and share.
